ORPROTEC 2009, A TRADE FAIR FOSTERING PERSONAL AUTONOMY
Orprotec'09 is getting ready for its tenth anniversary, taking place on November 26th to 28th at Feria Valencia, with over one hundred direct exhibitors and around 300 represented companies.
Orprotec is the biggest fair for orthopaedics and assisted living products held in Spain. Its leading position in the Mediterranean Arc is now fully consolidated, and it is widely recognised as a must-visit event for the whole personal autonomy sector.
The International Fair for Orthopedics and Assisted Living is implementing a wide-ranging promotional campaign targeting trade professionals from the sector with a view to attracting specifiers to the show. Following the guidelines of its strategic plan, Orprotec has already held several meetings with different specifier groups such as rehabilitation doctors, traumatologists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
The fair lends particular importance to the professionals who specify the products and services on offer at Orprotec. To this end, apart from its promotional actions, it is also preparing another programme of Clinics, following up to the resounding success at last years's fair.
Among the topics addressed during the Clinics programme are: the lastest introductions in materials for adapted sports; ergonomics in the latest trends in physiotherapy; the treatment of fractures by means of orthosis; and adapting spaces for dependant elderly people.
Orportec rewards Innovation
Once again Orprotec is announcing its latest Innovation Awards, with significant changes in the format and promotion. With these awards the fair wishes to encourage those companies using innovation in their products and production processes. A committee of trade professionals and users
Orprotec, International Fair for Orthopaedics and Assisted Linving - Technology for Disable and Senior Citizens hat the solid support of the main industry associations.
Sitting on the Orprotec planning committee are representatives of both industry professionals and users associations, this allowing the fair to bring on board the complete spectrum of needs and interests. Orprotec is a commercial platform specially conceived for the improvment of user's autonomy and the independence of people with limitations in the performance of their everyday activities or their social life, due to a funtional handicap associated with disabilities or aging.
Orportec will be held concurrently in time and space with the new Health and Wellness Show also taking place from November 26th to 28th at Feria Valencia. The two fairs will benefit from a mutual synergy making it more appealing and profitable for trade professionals to vitis both trade fairs at once.
